Open table NWA

I spent the better part of the last decade trying to stay in motion. I traveled, I moved, and I explored more spaces than I can count. For a long time, my only goal was to get out of Arkansas—to see what else the world had to offer.

And I did. But somehow, the road always leads back to Northwest Arkansas.

The Tax of the Traveler

Returning to Rogers is a trip. This area has changed so much; being neighbors with the "infamous" Bentonville means I’m now meeting more transplants than locals. It’s a strange feeling to realize that people are now choosing to move to the place I once couldn't wait to flee.

Travel is a gift, but it comes with a tax. When you’re constantly moving, you’re meeting incredible people, but you’re also saying goodbye almost every single day. You live in a cycle of re-explaining yourself to strangers, never knowing if or when you’ll see those new friends again. Eventually, that weight starts to pull on you. I realized I wanted a break from the introductions. I wanted to be surrounded by people who know me to the core.

I’ve found that when I’m back in NWA, surrounded by that specific kind of love, my creativity finally has the room to spark.

The Concept: A Table with No Walls

I love community. More specifically, I love the intimacy of things hosted at home. I love the smell of a kitchen working overtime and the sound of a full dining room. The world feels a little fractured right now, and I think we need more simple, tactile ways to connect.

So, I’m doing it. I’m opening my doors biweekly(ish) for the rest of 2026.

This isn't a pop-up restaurant or a formal event series—it’s a donation-based community experiment.

My brain is already firing off a million ideas for how this will look:

  • Themed Nights: "Soup Sundays" or "Noodle Nights" (where I make a massive batch of noodles and we just go through different sauces that guests bring).

  • Collaborations: Guest nights where friends take over the kitchen.

  • Interactive Evenings: Bingo nights with local gift cards as prizes, or movie nights in the backyard with the projector.

  • Potlucks: The classic "bring what you have" gathering.

The Fine Print

This is an open invitation. Whether you’ve lived in Rogers for thirty years or you moved here thirty minutes ago, there is a seat for you.

  • Accessibility: The dining room is wheelchair accessible, though please note that the bathrooms are not.

  • Families: All ages are welcome! Just a heads-up that the house isn't officially childproofed, so keep a close eye on the little ones.

  • The Flow: This is a "come and go" space. I know not every date will work for every person, and that’s okay! Come late or even just stay long enough to grab a bite.

I’m moving away from the "everyday goodbye" of travel and moving toward the "see you next time" of home.

I’d love for you to be a part of it.

There’s always a spot at the table for you.
